Textbook Levels

Thai 1–3 | CEFR A1

Speaking Foundation | 3 Months

These textbooks help beginners start speaking Thai for everyday life.
Students learn greetings, shopping, numbers, places, ordering food and drinks, classifiers, months, days, time, and occupations.

Thai reading is not required at the beginning, so students can build confidence in speaking first.

RW 1–3

Reading & Writing Starter | 3 Months

These textbooks introduce Thai reading and writing step by step.
Students learn the Thai alphabet, pronunciation, tones, basic handwriting, and typing in Thai.

This stage helps students connect spoken Thai with written Thai clearly and naturally.

Thai 4–6 | CEFR A2

Practical Daily Communication | 3 Months

These textbooks expand students’ ability to communicate in real daily situations.
Topics include body parts, sickness, transportation, travel, banking, hobbies, expressing opinions, personalities, and habits.

Thai 7–9 | CEFR A2–B1

Independent Thai Communication | 3 Months

These textbooks help students explain situations and connect ideas more naturally.
Students study accidents, coordinates, locations, conjunctions, discussions, and meetings.

Thai 10–12 | CEFR B1

Upper-Intermediate Fluency | 3 Months

These textbooks develop stronger fluency and more flexible communication.
Students learn how to explain problems, make plans, give suggestions, and compare ideas.

Thai 13–15 | CEFR B2

Advanced Thai Communication | 3 Months

These textbooks help students discuss more complex topics with confidence.
Students practice presentations, negotiation, abstract opinions, and advanced Thai communication.

Advanced & Mastery Classes | CEFR C1–C2

High-Level Thai Communication | 3 Months+

For students who want to continue further, Advanced & Mastery classes focus on nuanced Thai, professional communication, cultural depth, and high-level discussion.

Typical Progress Time Frame

Each main stage takes approximately 3 months.
With consistent study, students can progress from Thai 1–3 to Thai 13–15 in about 18 months, and continue to Advanced & Mastery classes from around 18 months onward.

Group classes follow this textbook pathway step by step.
Private lessons can use the same textbooks while adjusting the pace, review, and focus to each student’s goals.

Reading & Writing 1 (RW1)

Write and understand basic Thai script, vowel, tones, spelling, type of final consonant and simple written Thai alphabet.

Write and understand the change of some vowel forms, extra final consonant, initial cluster 1, initial cluster 2, pseudo cluster 1, pseudo cluster 2.

Reading & Writing 3 (RW3)

Write and understand the sound killer, using “ไ ” and “ใ “, double ” ร ร ” and final “ร “, loan words, irregular words and signs. You will learn how to spell and sound out words correctly, and know how to communicate in Thai clearly. Fluency in reading aloud will be greatly improved. Since the course focuses on high-frequency, common words used in daily life, comprehension and use of vocabulary will be enhanced. Understanding the written language and being able to read more fluently will dramatically improve your pronunciation and accent in Thai.

Reading & Writing 4 (RW4)

This book combines the skills from books 1-3. Now it’s time to begin reading short stories and answering questions to reinforce what you have learned. Additionally, most of the stories revolve around Thai culture, helping you understand why we say things the way we do.

This book is continuing what we learnt in book 4. Different fonts, a more varied collection of stories e.g. news, advertisement, and children’s tales to give you a more robust understanding of the Thai vocabulary you will see in everyday life.
